Howldy! There's not much to say about us, and we're kinda bad at talking about ourselves, but... we go by the name Brooke (or Brooklyn), and accept any pronouns because we're genderfluid and gay as hell

Occasionally, we make art, music, videos, etc, our hobbies mostly revolve around the things we make, for instance: we like photography, which can be used in parts of album covers for our music, or background images for our art! and if anyone's curious, we use:

- Firefox. yes, this line was only added to say that this site was made with FF in mind,
- FL Studio 21 for music making,
- Paint.NET for drawing and image editing (though we use "Sketchbook" when we're on our phone),
- a Sony HDR-CX210 for filming,
- and a Canon Powershot ELPH190IS for photos

...Aside from that, uh, I guess the only thing else we could talk about is our history!

the WolfSpace History Lesson begins now:
WolfSpace as a concept begins in Roughly 2016, as we began trying to compose music in a program called LMMS, which from what we experienced back then was pretty difficult to work with... but, that could just be us looking back with the opposite of rose-tinted glasses.
(seafoam glasses?)

Well, either way, the music we made in LMMS is completely lost to time (for the better ngl), but eventually, after not quite getting along with LMMS, we moved onto FL Studio. (real fact: the only reason we chose FL Studio was because we did a quick google search to find out what Toby Fox uses. Not kidding.) Though, admittedly, our journey into using FL Studio wasn't quite for music composing reasons, rather it was primarily for doing covers of songs we liked. (Such as, but not limited to: Megalovania, MeGaLoVania, MEGALOVANIA, and... well... not much more.)
After a little while of doing nothing but Kinda Terrible covers of songs we liked, we started working on music for our Dream Project! (TAKE IT FROM US: BAD IDEA. DON'T JUMP INTO YOUR DREAM PROJECT FIRST.) This "Dream Project" would quickly be known as Campfire Stories, abbreviated as CfS, because that was the only name we could think of at the time. (also, yes, that is the actual font and color gradient that was used for its logo)
Pretty early on into our whole "let's make Campfire Stories real guys!" phase, we somehow managed to pick up art as "An Actual Thing We Could Do Now" in various failed attempts to make the project come to life. Of course, we already COULD make art, but it was... lackluster, to put it lightly.

Eventually, (around mid-2023), CfS would evolve into a new, "easier" to execute concept, which was referred to as the "Dream Museum Project", which would've been a Yume Nikki-esque exploration game made in RPG Maker 2003, where all the areas you could go to are based on real dreams we've had. This, too, would never see the light of day, as making games is Really Fucking Hard.

But, after all that was said and "Done", what projects are we working on now?
Well, aside from a small project we haven't even named, which (so far) is a story about two characters, (World and Blame) trying to make it through life, and WolfSpace itself, (bandcamp, website, etc) we don't really have any major projects we're working on anymore.
The MAIN thing we wanna focus on nowadays is just trying to move in with our two partners (Fluster and Mae (the two of which we love very dearly <3 <3)), but that's a Very Far Future Thing, probably.

wow! that is a lot of text! the long story short is: we started working on a few concept-of-a-plan artistic projects that never went anywhere, but we learned skills that allow us to make music/art now, so it kinda worked out in the end

anyways,

trivia time!!!

We do NOT support GenAI at fucking all. It is a plague that is RUINING our planet, the people on it, and Generally Fucking Everything. If you support/use GenAI, you are NOT welcome here, and NEVER WILL BE.
Our "Special Interest" (because of The 'Tism) is Railroads (just as a whole, really.), though our favorite kind of railroads are Interurbans!
Our favorite colors are Maroon and Orange.
(the railfans in the crowd are staring at us with the "I Know What You Are." look rn)
In terms of musicians/bands we like, well... we don't really have favorites, but we do have favorite songs! such as: Weezer - Mykel And Carli, TMBG - Don't Let's Start, Patricia Taxxon - Her Garage, Femtanyl - PUSH UR T3MPRR, and Oliver Buckland - Hourglass Meadow
Our favorite (non-story) games would be: Balatro, Railroader, and HellDivers II
Our favorite (story) games would be: OneShot, deltarune, Super Lesbian Animal RPG, and Cemetery Mary
We're on Estrogen!!! We started transitioning on (or around, we're not sure if this date is 100% correct) 2022/11/29
We have two partners who we love very much :3 (๐Ÿ’› ยท 2024/01/25 / ๐Ÿ’œ ยท 2023/12/31)
English is our first language, but we're slowly learning Russian because Mae knows a lot of it, and we think it'd be cool to be able to talk with her in Russian
the entire design of our website may or may not be inspired by this
Emby and Ruby are the only two actual full headmates, the rest of them are moreso just fragments to varying degrees

oh yeah, we should probably list the "we" in question, oops

headmates

Emby
talksprite: ๐Ÿ’ซ (reason: her first time fronting post-adopting emoji as talksprites coincided with dizziness)
gray wolf
she/her, they/them

The only headmate (aside from Ruby) that isn't some form of fragment. The least common one, being the "Emergency Wolf". Typically only appears in times of need, such as when one or more of us are spiraling out of control and can't think straight. Notably, Emby doesn't usually speak (but does draw somewhat often) when she isn't fronting, as she initially mistakenly thought it would "preserve her personality" in some way, but kinda liked being the "distant quiet type" anyway

Plurality Role: Border

Ruby
talksprite: ๐ŸŒน (reason: alternate name he was considering)
resident borzoi
star/stars, she/her, they/them, he/him, it/its. prefers when they're randomized

The most common of the pack, you're probably talking to this one at any given time. Big fan of photographing things, not very good at being its own creature, and is kinda just a mix of the others... honestly that's just about it in terms "ways to describe Ruby"

Plurality Role: Host

Wynd
talksprite: ๐Ÿ’€ (reason: obvious wethinks)
skull-mask-wearing wolf
he/him, they/them

Roughly second most common, a bit of a hothead, but when he's NOT being an asshat he's pretty chill. Can oftentimes be useful in getting us to actually do things we're supposed to, but isn't really the best at doing that because there's a high chance he'll just give up out of frustration

Plurality Role: Avenger, ftmp that is

Biscuit
talksprite: ๐Ÿช (reason: cute nickname our partners refer to her as)
gray wolf themed dog
she/her, they/them, it/its

Tied for second in commonality, the resident "little" of the system, easily frightened and extremely shy and reclusive when not having a good time. Self described "Silly One", which to be fair is pretty accurate when she's not panicking about something

Plurality Role: Little

June
talksprite(s): Embry uses ๐ŸŽถ, Athena uses ๐ŸŽ€, and Zoey uses ๐Ÿงฌ, which are references to Campfire stories
coyote
they/them

Mixed bag, having three personalities (Embry, Athena, and Zoey) that are all usually equally a hint of silly. Do note though, they prefer to just be referred to as June. Doesn't do much, but usually is there when we can't figure out who's in the front.

Plurality Role: Dissociation Processor, also Versiogenic, technically

Pur
talksprite: ๐ŸŒซ (reason: our brain gets foggy when pur locks in)
abstract idea of a creature
pur/purs/purself, they/them

Enjoys drawing, demolishing photos/artworks, and making wacky sounds in FL Studio. Basically just likes manually creating things, regardless of how. Recently, pur's been a rather common fronter, which is great because that means we're finally being productive for once

Plurality Role: Crafter

Vasya
talksprite: ๐Ÿฆˆ (reason: vasya thinks sharks are cool)
gray wolf
he/him, they/them, it/its

Vasya is a weird situation, being somewhat of a holdover from a previous generation of our headspace. He's the Sensory Soother of the headspace, fronting whenever something's wrong physically/mentally in an attempt to fix it by brute force. Typically this means that they're fronting very briefly, and very frequently, as our chest, legs, and arms in particular are always very, very itchy. it's kinda annoying, but, it's what he does.

Plurality Role: Sensory Soother

Violet
talksprite: ๐ŸŽป (reason: "Viol" start to the word, and also because she's associated with acoustic guitars)
gray wolf
she/her

Ruby's interpretation of Emby created in a storm of confusing nonsense that's kinda hard to explain briefly. Usually she's okay at calming things down, but there's still the occasional time where that's not the case.

Plurality Role: Versiogenic

...there's also 29 more fragments, but they're not listed here as they're all pretty uncommon in comparison to the rest
